ABOUT THIS ITEM
Just in time for Canada's 150th birthday. A unique leather vessel depicting a Canadian icon.
In Canada’s Arctic the indigenous peoples created stone monuments called Inukshuk (pronounced in-ook-shook). Erected in the image of humans, their purpose was to communicate direction. In my travels in the north I have been privileged to view a number of Inukshuks, this is my version.
I carefully handmade this piece from new vegetable tanned leather. I created the artwork and hand tooled the leather. I then applied dye and hand rubbed finishes that will deepen as it gracefully ages.
As colour can look different on different monitors the colour may vary slightly.
These delightful little cups are 2.5" tall and 2.25" in diameter. They can have a variety of uses and are perfect for storing your small treasures . A delightful addition to any home or office.
All orders are shipped via Canada Post. I have chosen the most cost effective method as the default. Should you require express delivery or tracking additional charges will apply.
It seems to take between 10 and 14 days on average for delivery to US addresses.
All sales are final. I do not offer refunds
COLOUR is subjective and can vary considerably from person to person. It also can vary great deal from computer to computer. I have taken great care to ensure that the colours are as accurate as possible, but cannot guarantee that you are seeing what I am seeing.
I have tried to use colour descriptions that are in common use so that you have a description to support the color on the screen.
